So that this raw material can fully meet the needs of our customers, we at VTC – Vidros Temperados adapt the production process in a way that benefits the piece developed.
Our products can be: tempered glass; laminated glasses; insulated glass and screen-printed glass.
Tempered
Glass
The main characteristic of tempered glass is its high resistance to thermal and mechanical shocks that arise after heat treatment (tempering). It is considered safety glass, because if it breaks, it shatters into small rounded fragments, preventing accidents.
Laminated
Glass
Suitable for the construction sector, laminated glass is considered safety glass as it has excellent impact resistance, good acoustics and protects against UV rays. Its use becomes mandatory in places considered at risk, such as in the construction of balconies, verandas, mezzanines, roofs, facades, railings, floors and skylights.
Our proprietary technology for glass lamination increases its resistance, in addition to benefiting from the lamination of already tempered glass. Our oven is designed to laminate glass with PVB – Polyvinyl Butyral Film, a resistant film that, when autoclaved, adheres to the glass forming a sandwich.
Insulated/Double
Glass
Insulated or double glass, as it is popularly known, is recommended when you want to obtain luminosity, thermal and acoustic comfort in an environment. This can be composed according to the needs of the work so that a better result can be obtained.
Screen Printed
Glass
The screen printing process applied to glass transforms the raw material into an exclusive work of art, where the customer has the autonomy to imprint their personality on the decoration of their environment or product.
